Een Rubens op zolder? Beoordelingsdag voor kunstwerken in het Rubenianum

On Saturday, 7 December, you are cordially invited to the Rubenianum. Specialists will gladly tell you more about the drawing that adorns your grandmother's wall or the image that you cherish above the hearth. This event is offered on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Rubenianum.

The Rubenianum welcomes old European art: specifically paintings, drawings, prints (engravings/etchings) and (small) sculptures. On this day of judgment you can expect art historical information about the object, the style, the dating and the artist. The Rubenianum cannot provide appraisals of value. However, it can give guidance towards an auction house, art dealer or an independent appraiser.

For the best service, it is important that you indicate your arrival prior to the event, and provide a digital photo of the artwork (and possible information) for the Rubenianum. Registration can be done via e-mail or by telephone at 03 201 1577 (during administrative hours).

The Rubenianum is not responsible for possible damage during the transport to or during the time spent of the artwork within the Rubenianum. The works of art will be handled physically as little as possible while in the Rubenianum.
